Do you chill or just kick it?

My dog was shot and killed today. I really don't know what to say other than please be responsible pet owners. I had Nonnie for about 5 years and he was the best dog I ever had. While technically he wasn't really mine, I like to think it. Here is a video of him.

I am pooped...

I went down w/ Lisa to Ft. Lauderdale and up to W. Palm Beach for the weekend. Actually we drove to Gainesville Fri. night and stayed with Emily. I slept almost12 hours I think. Drove the rest of the way down to Ft. Lauderdale with 2 hrs. to spare before her class reunion. It was nice to see her seeing old friends. I went to mine a few months ago and remember how fun it was so I can relate.

The new Minus The Bear album is definately growing on me and they are coming to Tally this fall along with Electric 6. I don't know which I'm more excited about. Or if I just excited that some rawk is coming around this area.

I saw Iain's mom, Mrs. Mary Lynn and she told my folks that Mr. Avery had said after paying for Brian Avery's wedding, if they wanted to elope, he was finance it. As planning goes on with mine, I can definately see his point.

Finally broke down and ordered me an Ipod today. I know, what a trend follower. I just need something to listen to in the van and you can only handle so much NPR.

Just got back from WIlliston FL and it is almost midnight. Granted, I did get back ~8pm so it isn't like i just walked in the door. I met 2 dogs that were some big ole taters. I made a movie of one of them. Check it out.



Went down to Seaside for the day on Sat. to look for places for a reception. Found a killer gallery as a possibility called Gaffrey Art Gallery. The guy happens to also be a chef so maybe we can get him to cater as well. Who knows...but it was really neat and got me excited.

There is a deal going on on ipods at the moment and I might have to pull the trigger. I have so much time in the van and need some of my tunes instead of the radio. I have so many audiobooks I need to catch up on, but I don't want to drop that kind of coin on it. I'm afraid at this point I may bite, but we'll see. I just don't seem to be having the patience for my freeipod referral site at the moment.

While I don't think Pamela Anderson is a great spokesperson for any issue I do think KFC could do more to be more humane to chickens. I think I will boycott KFC for a while, heck, I only eat there about 1 time every 6 months so they won't care, but I'm stickin it to the man! YEA!

I'm back in Statesboro tonight after the weekend was spent in Orlando with Lisa watching her play regionals tennis matches. She layed the smack down in a doubles game.

Funny things: I had an electrician I worked along with ask me if I wanted to smoke weed with him and then he asked if I wanted to go in on a 12 pack that he and the boys in the yard were getting... I declined.
