We went out on the Flint River yesterday and took Frampton with us. I think it is safe to say that he had a good time. Where you see him now is where he stayed most of the trip; watching for logs and gaters! We rode down to the Chattahoochee damn and had a great time. When we got back everything was going great until I found Framp with his back on the ground grinding on what turned out to be a dead catfish head. Why do animals pick the most foul smelling thing they can find to rub their nose and body in? We had to bathe him before we left for Tallahassee.

I sold all, or rather most of my tapes from when I traded live shows long before the days of mp3. We had a yard sale and these 2 guys came up and noticed them. I hadn't intended on selling them, but I hadn't listened to them in ages and thought these people would get some enjoyment from them. It was hard parting with them. Not so much the tangible tapes that they were, but the memories that were attached to them. I started collecting them back in 1995 when I went to Alabama. It wasn't an easy task and in hindsight, probably got in the way of my studying, but what didn't. We used to use snail mail to send out shows and just "hope" that the other party on the other end, whom I had never met, would follow through in their part of the "deal." My roommate got me into that music and seeing each show, and the date reminded me of certain events. My memory impresses me every now and then! Oh well, I decided to sell them and I'm not upset that I did. I still have a few and others now have the chance to listen to them so I guess we all end up winners.

Gene - you damn hippie. can't belive you sold those tapes man. now you gotta grow a goatee and read foucault. oh and if you aint "feelin me" yet gettin hyphy all up in your biz, you just aint lissnin. feel me?
